FLEXIBLE POLYOLEFIN 3:1
ML3-HST is a flame-retardant, flexible, cross-linked polyolefin heat shrink tubing with an internal adhesive sealant. When heated in excess of 121°C (250°F), the tubing rapidly shrinks forcing the adhesive to flow and form a flexible bond with a wide variety of rubbers, plastics and metals. Upon cooling, the adhesive solidifies, forming a permanent, non-drying, flexible and water resistant barrier which offers a superb environmental protection for electronic components, wire splices, wire bundles and harness breakouts. Great for use in automotive, truck, marine and heavy equipment environments where moisture, humidity and corrosion are a problem. ML3-HST has a 3:1 shrink ratio that, when freely recovered, will shrink to 33% of its original diameter. The recovered wall thickness of the tubing is proportional to the degree of recovery.
