BBI-A is a flame retardant, specially formulated, cross-linked polyolefin tubing that is designed for insulating rectangular, square and round bus bar. It is rated from 5 KV through 35 KV. This material has a high resistance to splitting while providing the flexibility to conform to bends in certain applications. BBI-A is resistant to most solvents, and it is unaffected by normal cleaning fluids. It offers good thermal endurance up to 110°C (230°F). It has an excellent dielectric strength and is resistant to physical damage which contributes to longer life and a more stable performance.
BBI-A tubing meets the requirements of ANSI/IEEE Standard C37.20.
